At Northern we have a long history of bringing printing innovations to Alaska. We currently operate the only 6 color 40" press with in-line aqueous coating in Alaska. Our full complement of electronic prepress and post-production equipment insures a top-quality job from start to finish. Our Equipment
The crown jewel of our shop is a Roland 600 40" fiber optically controlled 6 color printing press with in-line aqueous coating and drying capability. In fact, the only 40" 6 color press in this hemisphere north of Vancouver works at Northern. Its extended capabilities make our shop the natural choice for any jobs involving more than 4 colors or specialized coatings, spot or flood. This masterpiece of engineering is complimented by a Roland 200 29" 2-color press which handles most two color work and short-run jobs with ease.

One of the newest additions to our shop is an HP Indigo 5000 digital press. It delivers high definition imaging and sharp text at up to 812 x 812 dpi resolution and line screens of up to 230 lines per inch. A Miller 27" x 40" inch press is dedicated to scoring, perforating and custom die cutting.

These presses are supplemented with and a full service bindery and finishing department. We score, fold, bind, glue, perforate, hole punch and cut just about anything you can image (except salami). If you are considering a particularly complex job, bring by a sample and we'll be happy to address your feasibility concerns. If we can't do it, it may be sandwich material.
